The Boon-Bane of the Unemployed

Time, time, time.

Boon: I've been sick and didn't have to go to work in driving rain and wind.
Bane: I was sick.

Boon: Lots of time to read, blog and complete projects that I've always wanted to do.
Bane: Lots of time to procrastinate.

Boon: Middle of the day visits from friends.
Bane: No bane here - love visits from friends.

Weighing it all out - boon's way better than the bane.

Looks like I'm not going to have so much free time after all. I've gotten a bunch of gigs in the last couple of days that will keep me busy for a few months.
